Workshop with Salvatore Daniele
Acrobatic Yoga playfully joins elements from Yoga with the dynamic energy of Partner Acrobatic. Through this combination, the practitioner awakens and develops a deep awareness of his balance, body tension and concentration.
What matters to Salvatore is to offer to the students a new taste of the meaning of the word Yoga. Yoga means Union: by practicing Acrobatic Yoga you experience the balance created by the Union of two persons, a base and a flyer. A form of balance that you simply cannot achieve solely with your body.
In this three hours workshop you will experience:
Playing as a base as well as a flyer.
The skill of safe-play: push your body and mind within a supportive and safe environment.
Fundamental techniques of working in partners.
Basic techniques of how to assist two people working together: the art of spotting.
Fun, lightheartedness, playfulness and much more!
To bring: Yoga clothing and your beautiful self. You can and are welcome to come alone, there is no need to come in partners.

Salvatore holds a Ph.D. in engineering and worked for about ten years as scientist in different Universities. In parallel, he has always been interested in understanding the human beings, their behavior, their nature etc. Because of that, he privately studied psychology and meditation. He is currently a student of the Indo-Tibetan Pointing Out meditation style. Always in his life, Salva was always focused on physical activities. He is currently a slackline sponsored athlete and very involved in the slackline worldwide scene being the president of the Zürich association and the responsible for the slackline education in Switzerland. In addition he practices different acrobatic disciplines and Yoga Asanas. In the last years he has been teaching Meditation, Yoga Asanas, Acrobatic Yoga, Acrobatics, Slackline, Juggling and Poi Spinning and for him all these disciplines are simply Yoga.
The practice of extreme sports combined to meditation establishes the balance between playing and staying. In both activities the ultimate goal is to live here and now, to play here and now, to stay here and now.
